
Puppy Basics
*AGES 8 WEEKS-4 MONTHS*
Puppy basics is designed to teach your puppy proper socialization and basic commands, including:
Potty training, nipping and chewing, sit, down, come when called, and loose leash walking.
Advanced Puppy
*AGES 4-6 MONTHS*
Commands from Puppy Basics are added upon and perfected. During this age, your puppy is more engaged and eager to learn, helping to build focus and reliability for a well-behaved puppy! Introduction to distractions and more challenging obstacles.
Adult Basic Obedience
This class is a beginner class for more mature puppies and young adults or new rescue dogs. Commands learned include: loose leash walking, sit, down, stay, leave it, wait, polite greetings, and come when called.
Problem-solving lecture will also be given on challenging behavior such as digging, chewing and barking.
Advanced Adult
The Advanced Adult class expands upon commands learned in Adult Basic Obedience, while introducing more challenging obstacles, such as duration, distance, and distraction. This class is meant to hone and perfect basic commands and increase focus and reliability.
AKC Canine Good Citizen
The AKC CGC course is designed for dogs who are over one year old and have passed the Adult Basic Obedience and Adult Advanced Courses, or with approval from trainer. The Canine Good Citizen certification is nationally recognized as the gold standard for dog behavior and is a great precursor for therapy and service dogs. This class teaches everything necessary to past the CGC test:

Appearance and Grooming
Walking on a Loose Leash
Walking Through a Crowd
Supervised Separation
Reaction to another Dog
Reaction to Distraction
Sit and Down Stay with Distance

Off-leash Reliability
This class is for dogs who already have basic commands. Designed to prepare students and dogs for off-leash hikes, you and your dog will learn advanced "leave it" skills, build recall, and learn to ignore stimuli while off leash and at a distance.
